The Hindu-Yogi Science Of Breath
William Walker Atkinson
Read by Mike Justice
Increase your awareness about the forgotten art of breathing as researched, practiced and written by our Eastern brothers. Inside you will find how our Western society has perhaps forgotten the proper way to breath, hence leaving us more susceptible to disease and poor health. This book explains in layman's terms what happens inside our bodies when we inhale and then exhale. And the effects improper breathing has on both our internal and external extremities. It describes nature's proximity for the respiratory, and circulatory systems. The final sections include invaluable Yogi breathing exercises for increased breathing awareness and better health. Priceless Practical Knowledge
LearnFrom&EnjoyEverything
A tight package of priceless practical knowledge of the cures of healthy breathing habits - as well as the health risks and symptoms of dangerous adaptations of performing this function - which should come so naturally for us all. A quick read with valuable information. A large portion of the book consists of breathing exercises. Therefore, I would reckon this to be a book good to own. The breathing exercises in this are not just a readthrough - rather require the right moment, focus and mindset for practicing breathwork. The exercises in this book can be returned to time and time again - before a man runs out of anything to practice in this book. This is especially beneficial to someone acquianted with western medicine only. My western mind thorougly enjoyed all the ancient eastern wisdom of it.

A wonderful book about breathing, and it's importance in our wellness. It has clear directions for several breathing techniques, and a thorough description of the common types of breathing. We need air more than we need water, but because you can't market air we often overlook it when looking for solutions to our ailments. The narrator has a clear and friendly voice, nice intonation and pacing

Excellent book for those seeking meditation and breath info.

The large supply of meditations, and breathing techniques is helpful. The entire literature is centered and focused on a variety of spiritual activities for consciousness and higher self application of physical and mental force. This is useful and I will browse the book for exercises again.

Finally, something that doesn't require going to the gym. Only requires relaxing and taking a breath.
