Many essential truths which were first articulated in ancient Hindu texts as the Vedas and the Bhagavad Gita.

This is a definite read through over several times. Funny how 100+ years from when this book was published some of the concepts are a little difficult to process through. Our general linguistic style these days is so relaxed. I found the concepts intriguing. I appreciate it very much the references and quoting of scripture. I am in the process of changing my thought process from the saturated negative concepts, the world demands, we adopt to a joy filled, positive and imaginative outlook. Why swim with the rest of humanity, it’s more fun to run and swim the other way!

Enjoyed the contents and the reading

Though I don't subscribe to every notion of this treatise on the relationship between the mental and the material world, I found it stimulating. The pleasant and clear voice and diction of the reader made for an enjoyable experience.

Great book. Makes a lot of sense. It was interesting to hear the authors story of her interactions in attempting to become the student of Troward and what he was like. The lessons are very helpful to me. Thank you to the reader who did a great job. I plan to listen to this again soon.

Good insights about our inner power

The reading wasn't so good though, no shade towards the reader, just didn't like it as much as I thought I would, but I still appreciate him for trying his best, though. All in all, it was an alright first time listening to a full audiobook. I still recommend this book, either way.

Worthwhile listen, but not life changing

Some interesting ideas and well read. Ultimately I'm not a fan of this content on christian mysticism because it appears based on self delusion. I fault the author with not writing clearly and concretely, but praise her for her cognitive ability and tenacity.
