really instructive/educational and fun!!! show. It's incredible to acknowledge this show was recorded in the 1930's, the audio quality & music is just outstanding. I'm real glad this was put on the Archive. !! Just Note Some Shows May Not Be Suitable for Young Persons! not for "adult content", but some of the newsworthy events that took place in certain years were dramatized such as assassinations, explosions &etc the dialogue is so.. well, it can be realistic thus very very sad, it may shock or startle some because it sounds so real, what some actors say and it's traumatic. Just a couple episodes were shocking like that, which is a good thing about the whole show is the way it tells the stories. Lots of music and the show has a fantastic orchestra, the best singers Ive ever heard! they replay the popular tunes of each "Year", that was so interesting! I think this is amazing. I saved a lot of these shows to put on my player to listen later, it's great!
