Reviews
Super writing and acting.

Really enjoyed this series, based on true stories from WWII, about a Dutch Intelligence Officer who has to ferret out spies trying to enter Britain. The interrogation scenes are brilliantly constructed, and Pinto demonstrates all his knowledge, experience and subterfuge. I particularly liked 'Friend or Foe', but all the individual stories are excellent. I've known Robert Barr for years, mainly as the creative force behind the 'Detective' radio series, but this is a step-up in terms of depth and interest. Really well acted throughout as well - not a stodgy accent anywhere! Sort of early John Le Carre in uniform. Give it a go.
Fantastic!

This is quite simply a fantastic lost and now found audible treat, starting the late but always great Bernard Archard (of many, many 1940-1960s TV and films (including The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre'), and written by legendary Scottish writer Robert Barr (Z-Cars, Softly Softly...). Great.
Absolutely Brilliant, can’t stop listening

This is a real find. A true classic. I love that LibriVox are including the old radio shows in their catalogue.
