Jamie Ward AKA, Uncle Neptune
Jamie Ward
Read by Bill Richardson
Jamie Ward, also known as Uncle Neptune, is a children's singer-songwriter whose music transcends age boundaries. He was a guest on the weekday afternoon program, Richardson’s Roundup, which aired on the Radio One network of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Born in Toronto, Ontario in 1975, Jamie immersed himself in music from a young age. After studying composition at the Royal Conservatory of Music, he shifted his focus to songwriting. Influenced by the songwriters and producers of the 1960s, he has created a diverse range of musical soundscapes, evolving from his earlier work as Uncle Neptune to his current project, PLANET WARDO.
Although he only began performing live a few years ago, Jamie has been steadily building a following online, supported by key figures in the music community.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
