Good summary of US forestry

This book was a good summary of the US forestry. The author outlined the distribuution of trees through out North America and how they are historically harvested and used. He went into how forests are owned and how conservation efforts were started. At the end Pack summaries the future of forestry in US and what we need to do to be more economically viable.
