Anne of Green Gables (version 6)
Lucy Maud Montgomery
Read by Woolly Bee
Matthew and Marilla make plans to adopt a boy to help with farm chores but because of a mistake, Matthew finds a girl waiting at the train station to come home with him. Anne Shirley is a bold, tempered, imaginative and talkative young girl, yet the reader still manages to fall in love with her blunt personality. Marilla has her doubts, but Matthew convinces her to keep Anne. This book will let you watch characters grow and blossom like butterflies and magical changes take place. A really good reading and a thrilling book.ā¤
broken sentences and repeats

The voice is fine, but the reading is as though she has never read this book before. Sentences are broken off too early, then finished oddly when she realizes she wasn’t finished with that sentence. And even within just a few minutes of the beginning, part of a sentence is repeated - as though she had gotten on the wrong line. Perhaps it is just an editing problem, but I will stick with Karan Savage’s librivox reading - it is 100% amazing!
