The story itself is wonderful but this recording was ruined by the last reader Carmen H. English is obviously her second language and her pronunciation is so confusing I couldn’t understand whole sentences in the last two chapters. Please replace these chapters with some other reader!
fun story, a little hard to understand sometimes

some of the readers were quiet or have strong accents. it is a fun story, but the recording is not great.

Good story. Though one of the guy readers mumbled and at times yawned.
pretty dumb

really boring, detailed accounts of kids playing tag and hide and seek and how if you believe in fairies you can see them but if you don't you can't. most of the readers were decent, I really liked Samantha. The last lady I could barely understand. Maybe this would be fun for a kid to listen to, but it had no point, in !y opinion. if you are going to suspend that much belief I feel there really should be something more to make it worth it. there were no moral lessons learned, no real dangers or problems solved, not even interesting characters. everyone lived in happy lala land having fun. Even the "wicked witch" was feared because she "put things in cages." Hello, kids love zoo's anyway. Ok have fun with it, don't expect much.
a sweet escape

I had never heard of this story and chose to listen on a whim. I am so glad I did! It was a quick and whimsical listen, reviving a child's imagination even in this tired mama! I will be saving this and listening to it again when my girls are a bit older. Most of the readers were excellent, all read in a way that swept me up into the story, but one of the readers had a high voice and it was a bit more difficult to understand her accent in the high pitch. Very minor issue.
