This well narrated book presupposes some previous knowledge of basic Geology. The author dives right in, using the specialized vocabulary of the field. Most of the mountains, hills, and other areas he refers to are in Great Britain or Europe. Not to worry, though; there's no glossary, but there is a list of minerals--at the end!
