“THE FARTHER ADVENTURES OF ROBINSON CRUSOE; Being the Second and Last Part OF HIS LIFE, And of the Strange Surprizing Accounts of his Travels Round three Parts of the Globe.” After the death of his wife, Robinson Crusoe is overcome by the old wanderlust, and sets out with his faithful companion Friday to see his island once again. Critiques
Pretty well read, fun adventure, good moral lessons to learn

ZDZ
If you have listened to/read the first Robinson Crusoe story, this is a little tedious at first in going over some of the same ground, but gets more interesting as it goes on. There are good nuggets of wisdom sprinkled throughout along the way, and these are worth considering.
This sequel is certainly worth listening to.

Ancient Aunt
I'd never read Robinson Crusoe and I'd never heard that a sequel even existed. It's pretty good and certainly worth listening to. Hard to believe he had so many more nerve wracking travels once he left his island. This reader did Avery good job.
Great listen

Zach
A great book in its own light, however as a continuation of the adventures of Robinson Crusoe it falls short. The fascination of detail is lacking in this work as opposed to the other. I would like to thank the reader who did a fantastic job.
An Interesting Travelogue

Phxjennifer
The narrator is skillful, but like most sequels, this book doesn't live up to the first one. Still, it will hold your attention: cannibals, pirates, massacres, Tartar hordes, scoundrels and miscreants abound!

annoyed, very annoyed
Very self centred protagonist, always praising himself and no mention of his children who clearly grew up without him because he was too busy commanding others.
A wonderful classic adventure story worth a listen.

Seven Archers
A great sequel to the original Robinson Crusoe, the reader did an excellent job. definitely worth a listen.
great book

Rakhi Tiwari
the narrator did a great job but it's too racist and not as detailed as the first book but sill it's good
HOHUM

AVID READER
The story would easily into 25 pages. The rest is a mix of philosophy and travelogue, some good, some not so good.
