Sadly I can’t listen to some readers as for me 60%of the experience is listening to the voice! I find myself mentally correcting the speech of non English natural people, which is of course distracting. I listen at night as I am an insomniac so thus the pickiness ...Should I listen in the day I hope I would be more long suffering. The stories I do listen to I have on a slow speed and I find this way works so I can listen to them repeatedly! The readers deserve medals.... wonderful ! The Ap is brilliant for ancient people like me and also my grandchildren. Thankyou LibriVox keep up the good work!

too hard to understand with such a heavy accent

A mixed bag

There are some good reading and good stories here but there are some which I didn’t find either the reading or the story justified my time. Always good to have Sherlock Holmes in the mix :)

Captivating

Stereotypes present

Stereotype language in The Asassin Club is stark and unnecessary for plot. Detract from overall enjoyment.
