Saint Valentine

English · Dramatic Readings, Christianity - Biographies, Radio

Ave Maria Hour is a Catholic radio drama presenting stories drawn from the lives of saints and other figures in Catholic history. Its dramatized approach brings religious biography to the airwaves, focusing on the people, choices, and events associated with the Church’s spiritual tradition.

The program uses actors and radio storytelling to portray its subjects, with dialogue and narration helping listeners follow the events and their significance. The title “Saint Valentine” points to a program centered on the saint, offering a devotional and historical perspective rather than a contemporary romance.

The listening experience is earnest and reverent, combining dramatic scenes with an emphasis on faith, sacrifice, and moral example. It may appeal to listeners interested in Catholic history, religious broadcasting, and classic radio drama.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
