David Balfour's uncle has him kidnapped in order to cheat him out of his inheritance! After being shipwrecked off the coast of Scotland, David reunites with a friend from the voyage (wanted Jacobite Alan Breck Stewart) only to find they are now suspects in a murder! David and Alan must flee across Scotland to get David back his inheritance and Alan to safety in France! - Summary by Alexandria Adair
