pretty good story

This story was interesting, a bit predictable in places, still entertaining. The reader had a pleasant voice, good cadence and inflection However, one male character is English but she gives him a horrible Southern accent. It's the only character she changes her voice for. Please just read in a normal voice, you have such a nice one.

A good reading of a surprisingly engaging book. I feared it would be a standard melodrama but in fact it has interesting things to say about human nature, the human soul, ... and about the power of money and social status ultimately to corrupt even the best of us.
