Long Summer

Straight Arrow is a Western adventure radio series centered on a masked hero who protects settlers and ranchers in the American West. By day, he is known as Steve Adams, a seemingly ordinary rancher; as Straight Arrow, he uses his courage and skill to confront danger and defend those in need.
The program brings listeners into a frontier world of conflicts, pursuit, and peril, with the action carried by dialogue, sound effects, and a dramatic cast. Its stories draw on familiar Western themes of justice, loyalty, and life on the range, creating an accessible adventure for listeners of all ages.
With its secret identity and clear-eyed hero at the center, Straight Arrow offers the brisk, suspenseful feel of classic radio Westerns. The title “Long Summer” identifies this recording’s episode, while the series’ broader appeal lies in its blend of frontier atmosphere and heroic action.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
