Abbott & Costello Radio
Abbott and Costello were one of the most popular duo comedy teams in history, known for their work in both radio and television. William (Bud) Abbott and Lou Costello (born Louis Francis Cristillo) first teamed up in 1935 at the Eltinge Burlesque Theater on 42nd Street in New York.
They became famous for their iconic act, "Who's on First?" which featured rapid-fire wordplay and comprehension confusion, setting the stage for many of their best-known routines. Their comedic legacy continues to entertain audiences today.
