The original spicy butler?

This OTR show bears a strong resemblance to the '80s sitcom Mr. Belvedere, wherein an upper-crust British butler has to deal with a wacky American family, and does so with dry, piercing wit. There's a chance that both of these sitcoms were inspired by the same novel titled Belvedere, which was published in 1947. The cartoonish character Higgins really drives this show, which I find quite charming, and at times even funny!
It's Higgins Sir review

How delightful this show is !! It was a lucky find on a UTube site that has all types of old radio shows. The site is called Dinos Duck Soup. It was the first time I had heard It's Higgins Sir and loved it so I figured the Archives would be the best bet to find the rest of the episodes . It's too bad the show was conceived at the end of the radio era and beginning of television.Only one season was made.😭 I've used the Archives many times. Its truly a treasure chest of goodies. Thank you for your work !!! Denise Nichols
