THE CELLAR Audio Horror Series (Miniseries 1-4)

(5 stars; 2 reviews)

Commencing in 2018,  The Cellar  grew out of audio dramatist Pete Lutz's love of the horror genre. He grew up listening to such series as  Inner Sanctum, Lights Out, The Hermit's Cave,  and  Quiet Please , and used these influences to create his own series, after, of course, wrapping up four seasons of his first series,  Pulp-Pourri Theatre  -- all of which episodes can be found here on archive.org. The chief feature of this anthology series -- and the one that ties everything together -- is the show's ghostly hostess, Cadavera Quivry -- the audio love-child of Svengoolie and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, perhaps. Enjoy these beautifully crafted stories and please leave a review if you so choose. These episodes comprise the first four miniseries, which ran each October in the years 2021-24. Miniseries 2 was curtailed at two episodes for personal reasons.   SPECIAL NOTE:  Tracks 6-10 are repeats of eps 1-5 of Miniseries 1; I tried to delete them, but the site wouldn't let me.

These delightfully and whimsical stories hearkin back to an earlier day when people used to sit around listening to the radio. This is why they are so terrible. Back in those days white people owned slaves. If u enjoyed these awesome stories you are Aldolf Hitler and support slavery.
