Reviews

Shame some reviews don't rate as highly as the book!!!

(5 stars)

Instead of reviewing the book here. (add my opinion to the 5 star reviews), sadly I feel that it's necessary to comment on a comment!! Does the reviewer really think "can almost see all her boob & vagina" is remotely suitable - or even useful?? I'm far from being a prude, but that comment is utterly unnecessary, disgusting & completely puerile!! Is the reviewer really the hormonal 13 year old boy they appear to be?!? Not only is the picture mentioned tasteful art rather than pornography; it actually seems to encompass the essence & spirit of Queen Cleopatra! Please, reviewer, just go away, grow up & come back when your mature enough to appreciate the hard work, & dedication, of those people who put the time & effort into this fantastic app (for free I might add!!). Providing this service to the world & from the world. Comments like yours really are just disrespectful & frankly ridiculous!! Grow up!!

Sound, if old fashioned, sort of biography

It covers the Roman version of the story rather well. There are problems with it as a history, but it is well performed, and gives the narrative in an engaging way.

Good, easy to listen to

(4 stars)

Good diction for the most part and easy listening.

Fascinating

True reality drama. Readers all good and clear. Author's objectivity doesn't deserve criticism, it was written in mid 1800's. Author shows a moral opinion sometimes, but that is just more history, of another kind. Very enjoyable.

Well Worth Listening To!

A couple of times I was challenged by a reader but, all in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I actually learned a good deal. Thank you!

At least listen to the final chapter, it's well read, clean sound, excellently written summation, and a greatly compelling finale *which actually happened* mind-blowing.

Cleooatra

I've always loved the story of Cleopatra. The insight this telling brings is not only well told but terribly entertaining. Loved it .

Fascinating

A wonderful insight, of some terrible despots and a lot of history. Some readers tend to race which is a shame
