so enjoyable

I really enjoyed this reading. The humour had me chuckling, and the chapter on Christmas past was really moving. Well done!
For once Mr Scrooge is not Mr Hyde

This reading is so much more moving than most for being underplayed. Not that Mr Keeble lacks color. Only that Scrooge’s humanity is always present, unbeknownst to his neighbors, unbeknownst to himself and this I believe is what Dickens intended. Keeble takes us back to Victorian times when the standard Oxbridge accent had not yet been invented. What shines through always is the writing. The highest tribute. Thank you, and Merry Christmas.
Well done

It may not be the best recording, but the accent fits the book well.
