TGG October Spooktacular 2022 10/03 Escape: Pollack And The Porroh Man (1947)

Escape was one of the most popular radio series of the 1940s and 50s. For the most part the series and its competitor Suspense produced straight up mysteries or, in the case of Escape, adventure tales without any supernatural trappings. Yet when either of the series did decide to dip their toes into the macabre, they were usually worth a listen. Tonight we'll give a listen to an adaptation of an H.G. Wells' tale published in 1895. It's Pollack and the Porroh Man as it aired on October 29th, 1947 on Escape!
