This play tells the story of an unhappily married woman who struggles to break free from the conventional life she has created, leading to tragic consequences for her family.

The cast includes Bill Paterson as Jorgen Tesman, Hannah Gordon as Hedda Gabler, and Gudrun Ure as Miss Juliane Tesman (Aunt Julle), among others. Directed by John Tydeman, this production aired on BBC Radio 4 FM on March 2, 1981.
