George Bernard Shaw Pygmalion
George Bernard Shaw
Pygmalion is a classic play by George Bernard Shaw that explores the refinement of Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl, into a duchess at ease in polite society. This adaptation features Imelda Staunton and Simon Cadell, bringing to life Shaw's brilliant and witty reworking of the classical tale of the sculptor Pygmalion, who falls in love with his perfect female statue.
First broadcast on BBC 7 on August 12, 2006, Pygmalion both delighted and scandalized its initial audiences. It serves as a barbed attack on the British class system and reflects Shaw's feminist views, highlighting the complexities of transformation and identity.

Critiques
A well done dramatization

Well done, and well acted, in the style of full radio drama. A particular highlight is Alfred Doolittle's musings on the ills of "middle class morality". A nice, quick, entertaining listen.
Very nice drama

I didn't realize this is the story from the movie "My Fair Lady". Very enjoyable.
