The Great Gildersleeve
Leonard Lewis Levinson
The Great Gildersleeve was a radio situation comedy that aired from August 31, 1941, to March 21, 1957. It was one of the earliest spin-off programs in broadcast history, centered around the character Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve, who was originally introduced in the radio show Fibber McGee and Molly.
Actor Harold Peary portrayed Gildersleeve during its transition from the parent show into a spin-off, and he later appeared in four feature films at the height of the show's popularity. The character was known for his pompous demeanor and became a memorable antagonist to Fibber McGee, with the catchphrase, "You're a haa-aa-aa-aard man, McGee!"

There is a couple of movies as well and are no DVD if you can find them which I have not and not even streamed online either. This is just plain funny comedy radio along with Jack Benny and The Bickersons and My Favorite Husband which prbly could have been a tv show
