Really enjoyed F Sott’s word craft. I wish more writers would adopt his style

H-wat can I say?

I couldn't get past her pronunciation of "h-wat" or "h-wen" or "h-were". It was distracting the whole way through.

The book takes a dark turn after some chapters devoted to mysticising the idea of Jay Gatsby and bringing forth the exuberance of the 1920s. It was a wild journey into the abysses of the American mindset, helped by the choice of narrator. The fact that the story is told from an outside perspective allows the reader to catch up to the main characters and figure out what is going on alongside Nick – it makes for a more interesting engagement with the text. In the whole, it is a great book, and I am looking forward to reading more of Fitzgerald.
Great narration, good writing, decent story

Great job reading this! Very well done. However, I was not impressed with the book at all. I'm honestly shocked it's so highly recommend. The writing was good, but to me, the story did not have any true depth or wisdom. If I was rating only the book I would give it two stars.

Beautifully read, words fitting together by a real craftsman, once started I was thirsting for them entering my ears. What a joy this experience was. Thanks so very much. Sincerely Sydney Morey.

She sat down in front of the mic and said to herself "I want to make history" and that's exactly what she did.

A most sensitive and intelligent reading by Kara. True to the mood and tone of the text itself. Recommended — Kenneth in London UK
