Secret Agent K-7 Returns - Single Episodes
Secret Agent K-7 Returns is a captivating radio series that began in 1932, preceding iconic characters like James Bond and The Man Called X. Although the original K-7 series is lost, a new syndicated series launched in 1939, featuring a collection of seventy-eight fifteen-minute spy stories. In this series, Agent K-7 serves as the narrator, introducing tales of espionage and cautioning against the dangers posed by spies.
The show reflects the historical context of its time, created against the backdrop of rising tensions in Europe and the onset of World War II. K-7's role evolved from merely narrating cautionary tales to actively assigning missions to three secret agents, B-9, Z, and M, along with their assistants. The series is not only entertaining but also serves as a historical commentary on the war-weariness of Americans during that era.
With well-paced episodes filled with intrigue and action, Secret Agent K-7 Returns offers a unique blend of entertainment and historical insight, making it a fascinating listen for fans of classic radio drama.

I found this series to be interesting. Not great, just interesting. It tells of secret agents working "in the modern day" which is over 80 years ago. the stories themselves are interesting, the person who narrates the stories (K7) does not do a great job. He is rather unemotional and not interesting. There are three episodes missing from this collection, and they can be found here: https://www.radioechoes.com/?page=series&genre=OTR-Drama&series=Secret%20Agent%20K7
