Dark Venture was a psychological thriller series, somewhat similar to The Whistler. It started as a west coast program and then was nationally broadcast on ABC. The series ran from 1945 to 1947.

This is one of the best suspense/thriller programs there ever was. The writing is grade A+. Stories are super original. It's a shame this never got picked up by a sponsor. The acting was great too with many of the radio regulars doing what they did best and over to do. Just another sad reminder that t.v. was a FAR much faster and easier way to turn people into sheep. Look who "we" elected president for God's sake. You think he would be in there without America's sick addiction to television and to oil? Sad state of affairs.
