Great book! I've read and listened to just about all of L. M. Montgomery's books they remind me of when I was young, they never get old <3

Such sweet stories!

(5 stars)

These stories are so fun and entertaining to listen to. They are slightly sadder then Chronicles of Avonlea, but they are still amazingly written and read!

Also nice to hear the works of LMM. However I think overall "Chronicles of Avonlea" were better thought out stories and therefore more believable.

these are so great! I have probably listened to them 20 times!

Enjoyable Stories

(3.5 stars)

I can see why L. M. Montgomery chose not to publish these stories; they are vastly inferior to the gems in Chronicles of Avonlea and, in her mind, probably not worth publishing. However, the least of her stories are superior to the best work of many other authors. I enjoyed listening to these and some even had a few incredibly powerful moments. The reader does a superb job as she.did for the first volume of these stories. I recommend this to those who are devoted fans of Montgomery and Avonlea.

highly recommend!😉

I've only listened to a few but so far these story's were good. My favorite so far is , 'Her Father's Daughter', it was so sweet with perfect ending:) And I also really enjoyed 'the materializing of cicel' it was so funny with a sweet ending!

thoughtful and thought provoking

Well written and well thought out, these short stories are the sequels to the Chronicles of Avonlea. They are slightly more sad, though almost all have a happy ending. The materializing of Cecil is my favorite of all, and amazingly funny!

Much more melancholy that the first

There are a few good stories in this book that make you smile, but I feel more of them are sad or tragic. Not my favorite since I love cheery, sunshine books with happy endings.
