The title says it all. During the '20s, society was in upheaval after the horrors of WWI. This book tells of the "rebellion"as a father returns from the war to find his late teen and older daughters in full freedom. The plot revolves around the outcome of the clash between Pop and his "children." I wished for a better plot and one more suited to later times. The reader does an okay job, but her slow pace makes it harder to stick with the very 'talky' story.

This Libri Box volunteer is terrific, however, the novel is redundant, obtuse and wholly unartful, especially for the time it was written.
