"The Art of War is a Chinese military treatise written during the 6th century BC by Sun Tzu. Composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare, it has long been praised as the definitive work on military strategies and tactics of its time. The Art of War is one of the oldest and most famous studies of strategy and has had a huge influence on both military planning and beyond. The Art of War has also been applied, with much success, to business and managerial strategies." (summary from Wikipedia) (1 hr 12 min)

If you're curious about those funny fake quotes you see in comment sections that end with "-Sun Tzu", this is the original context you have to know first. Jokes aside, it's a good book and it's very blunt and straight to the point. It provides a lot of military strategies regarding soldiers and geography that still hold up today. I use it as a reference for writing medieval fantasy wars.

A revolutionary guide on warfare!

The advice here is timeless, and can be applied almost anywhere. Not least because our struggles of life are a form of war. The book requires intense studying, due to old language. But can be seriously rewarding for anyone who wants to win any battle they are facing in life!

Short and insightful

Really good book really interesting concepts. The thoughtfulness he leveraged to write this was really good. Particularly, the section on the use of fire and how he went through all of the considerations about when to use fire and how to leverage fire for attacks.
