Heart warming tale, well-read

This lovely children's book traces the life story of an intelligent cat adopted by the Hartford Post Office. Tommy has many friends but does gain a few enemies, snd one particularly cruel incident may be troubling for sensitive children. Tommy bounces back and the book finishes with him alive and well. Thanks for the great reading.
