This book was a wonderful escape , a great story, nicely narrated. I could think of worse ways to spend eternity 😄. Lastly for whatever reason I am inclined to avoid books narrated by the author, they never seem to fit but this is not the case with Mur Lafferty, so thank you ! I’m looking forward to book 2 in the series.

I love the concept of this story -- it's very different and inspired. The references to the various gods/goddesses were interesting and thought-provoking -- two things I love dearly. I have only slightly brushed the surface of myths and legends in other cultures and was captivated by seeing these characters ...

A very interesting read, and very well read. My only problem with this is how at many times you made many things up about Christian faith. And it didn't even talk about Jesus, which I know this book is not about that, it just gives people three wrong ideas, I mean christianity is called what it is for the sole purpose that it's all about Jesus the Christ. Also In Greek myths I think hercules was ascended to a God after all was said and done. But like I said a very interesting piece of fiction, I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this more and more as it went on. Dog Heaven in particular stood out as a cool original idea. Not that there's anything wrong with using existing myths when you do new and interesting stuff with them. Great narration too. I've just downloaded Season 2 and am looking ...

Don't know why this took so long, but I decided to come back and give my 2¢. This book has a special place in my heart. You see, apart from being a great reading of a great story, this was my first dip into the podcast pool. Not just my ...

I was somewhat hesitant at first, thinking this might end up being Christian novel shrouded in the guise of a fantasy setting, but I was very wrong. I'm loving this! The story is intriguing and fun and takes a very unique and open minded view of "The Afterlife" and seems ...

I really enjoyed the first half of this book, but it rather abruptly moved away from its initial premise and took off in a direction that really put me off finishing it. **Spoilers** In the span of about two chapters it goes from two friends with sexual tension exploring the ...

I got so caught up in Heaven that I actually did nothing but listen to it for several hours! That's odd for me, being a hardcore multitasker. Anyway, I thought it was very good. I'm looking forward to hearing Hell.
