This was a HOOT! Listened straight thru on a road trip and now I can't get the music out of my head. I keep humming "...all we wanna do is eat your brains..." This was right on target and I almost wet myself laughing about the bumper boats and teambuilding ...


Laugh out loud funny. Not recommended for public transport as you will appear an idiot. Mur has assembled a stellar cast, and the writing is bright and witty.

All dialogue was an interesting change for an audiobook. Funny conversations and easy to follow story. An entertaining read for a few hours.

not enough time devoted to the real existential zombie threat, e.g. white male phalogocentricism. Story needs to be rewritten. Zombies need to be replaced by white cis gendered males. The ’normal people’ need to explicitly be identified as nonbinary LatinX Americans. The LatinX Americans need to be oppressed and to rely entirely on white 20 something college educated liberals who will save them from the evil old white male phalogocentricism.

My review was posted 7-2018. I found Mur’s book by accident. It’s worth digging around in the book reviews & related books. Also if searching by name look into the list of books & read the reviews other people leave, sometimes they will mention titles of books they like. Or names of books in a series. JSmith & no name one star. UR review shows U have no sense of humor.


This must be the worst written, vacuous, audiobook on Podiobooks. For that it deserves a prize. Now I know that the voting system on Podiobooks is rigged. The author and cast must have got their 33 friends together to vote. I can't believe that people think this is funny. Great ...
