Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century aired from November 7, 1932, to March 28, 1947, showcasing a blend of science fiction and adventure that was far ahead of its time. The series featured innovative concepts such as death ray guns, gamma ray bombs, and even a mechanical mole.
With a cast that included Curtis Arnall, Matt Crowley, and Adele Ronson, the show introduced audiences to a future where Buck Rogers' sidekick was not only a capable pilot but also a fierce warrior, breaking gender stereotypes of the era.
Produced and directed by Jack Johnstone, the program was sponsored by well-known brands like Cocomalt and Kellogg's, and it typically ran for 15 to 30 minutes per episode.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
