Important history

(3 stars)

This program is important as a historical source, to let us know what the "experts" were thinking in those times. I found the show on Compulsory Health Insurance especially interesting, because the arguments on BOTH sides were EXACTLY the same as today. The only difference is that the 1940 speakers used bigger words. :)

Thanks

The hour long episode on America's Free Press was incredible, not because of the debate but because at 1hr:07min into the program Harold Ickes actually exposes for the first time to the American public the fact the cigarettes shorten life. Great thanks to the individuals who posted all these programs.
