The Man With Two Left Feet, and Other Stories is a collection of short stories by P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the United Kingdom on March 8, 1917 by Methuen & Co., London, and in the United States in 1933 by A.L. Burt and Co., New York. All the stories had previously appeared in periodicals, usually the Strand in the UK and the Red Book magazine or the Saturday Evening Post in the US. It is a fairly miscellaneous collection — most of the stories concern relationships, sports and household pets, and do not feature any of Wodehouse's regular characters; one, however, "Extricating Young Gussie", is notable for the first appearance in print of two of Wodehouse's best-known characters, Jeeves and his master Bertie Wooster (although Bertie's surname isn't given and Jeeves's role is very small), and Bertie's fearsome Aunt Agatha.

Funny stories, excellent reader

It is an eclectic collection of stories - many have a bit of romance. I enjoyed the two stories written from the dog's perspective - so funny to hear how perplexing we are to one who simply wants to please! Michael Yard does an excellent job of reading. He has a great sense of timing that lets the humor of Wodehouse shine through.

This is a neat collection of short stories by PG Wodehouse, who is one of my favorite authors. I seldom hear or read a book by him that doesn't have me laughing out loud. This book is no exception. I especially love "The Mixer", which is a wonderful story told from the dog's perspective. Reader did a very nice job, clear and easy to follow. Enjoy!

Although these stories are not straight comedies like the "Jeeves" stories, still very entertaining. The reader is mostly fluent, pronunciations accurate more often than not. His dry mouth and reading it while sleeping detracted a little from the experience. Still must thank him sincerely for volunteering his time to do this.

This is the second book of Wodehouse short stories I’ve listened to... I’m hopelessly addicted. The reader did a good job and I’m laughing out loud throughout. I love the fun and the happy endings. The stories told from dog’s perspective especially fun and different.

Humorous stories with happy endings. The young men are somewhat dim, the young women are bright, sweet, and endlessly patient. This isn’t the place to look for social and gender roles revolution, but if you enjoy sweet old-fashioned stories, you may enjoy these.

Good fun stories with some great twists and always happy endings. Wodehouse does a great job with imaginative and intriguing tales. Well read, except a little more humor in the reading would make some of them laugh out loud funny.

I recall reading many of PG Woodhouse his stories in my youth. They are just as refreshing and entertaining today. The narrator, Michael yard, performed his task very professionally.
