Jimmie Fidler

Mickey Rooney and John Huston

English · Radio

Jimmie Fidler’s program brings Hollywood personalities into a radio interview setting, with Fidler drawing on his familiarity with the film world to guide the conversation. This recording features Mickey Rooney and John Huston, two guests whose careers span acting and filmmaking.

The appeal is hearing the guests speak in their own voices rather than encountering them through their screen roles. Fidler’s questions provide the framework for a relaxed exchange about the people and work behind Hollywood’s public image.

For listeners interested in classic film and its personalities, the program offers an intimate snapshot of two prominent figures in conversation on radio.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
