This Is War
Your Army
von
This Is War is a wartime radio series presenting dramatic stories about the people and experiences of World War II. The episode title, “Your Army,” points to a focus on the U.S. Army and its role in the conflict.
Produced as radio drama, the program uses performance and sound to bring its subject to listeners. Its stories are shaped to convey the human stakes of military service and the wider effort behind the war, offering a dramatic rather than documentary-style listening experience.
The series combines patriotic purpose with the immediacy of wartime broadcasting. “Your Army” offers a direct, accessible entry into that approach, placing the armed forces at the center of a story intended for a home-front audience.
