Frontier Gentleman follows British journalist J. B. Kendall as he travels through the American West in the years after the Civil War. Reporting for a London newspaper, Kendall encounters the people and conflicts shaping frontier life, from isolated settlements and cattle country to the uneasy edges of law and order.

John Dehner stars as Kendall, whose first-person accounts give the series the feel of a travel diary. Each story brings him into contact with a different corner of the West and its inhabitants, blending adventure with observation of the customs, hardships, and contradictions of the era.
