The Green Hornet follows Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher who secretly fights crime as the masked Green Hornet. With his trusted partner Kato at his side, Reid uses the disguise of a wanted outlaw to get close to criminals and disrupt their operations.
The radio adventure combines action, suspense, and crime-solving, with the Green Hornet’s double identity at the center of the drama. Episodes typically pit the pair against dangerous schemes and powerful adversaries, while Reid’s public role as a publisher gives him a way to pursue leads and expose wrongdoing.
Fast-moving and dramatic, the series is known for its heroic partnership and the distinctive sound of the Green Hornet’s car, the Black Beauty. It offers classic masked-hero adventure, balancing secret missions and peril with a strong sense of justice.
