Exploring Tomorrow

The Gift (The Happiness Effect)

English · Science Fiction, Anthologies, Radio, Dramatic Readings

Exploring Tomorrow is a science-fiction radio anthology that considers how scientific and technological change might reshape human life. Each story presents a different imagined future, using speculative situations to explore the consequences of new discoveries and ideas.

The program offers self-contained dramatic stories rather than a continuing cast or storyline. Its episodes bring listeners into encounters with unfamiliar inventions, social changes, and the possibilities—and risks—of progress. The title “The Gift (The Happiness Effect)” suggests a story centered on happiness, but the available information does not establish its specific plot.

The series’ appeal lies in its blend of suspenseful radio drama and thoughtful speculation. It invites listeners to consider not only what the future might make possible, but also how people could respond when change touches ordinary hopes and choices.
