Fitch Bandwagon
A Tutor for the Girls
von
Fitch Bandwagon was a radio showcase for popular music and comedy, presenting a changing lineup of performers and acts. Its variety format brought musical performances together with comic entertainment, offering listeners a lively mix rather than a single continuing story.
The program’s appeal lies in the contrast between its musical numbers and humorous material, with each broadcast shaped by the performers featured. This recording is identified as “A Tutor for the Girls,” a title that suggests a comic element within the show’s variety setting.
With its blend of music and comedy, Fitch Bandwagon offers a snapshot of mid-century radio entertainment, where a broadcast could move between songs and lighthearted performance in a single program.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
