Christmas Show: Salute to Eleanor Powell
von
Maxwell House Good News is a musical variety program built around comedy and popular entertainment. Its title identifies this recording as a Christmas show saluting dancer Eleanor Powell, offering a festive occasion centered on a featured performer.
As a radio variety broadcast, the program brings together spoken entertainment and music rather than following a single dramatic storyline. The Christmas setting and tribute to Powell give this installment its particular focus, while the variety format provides a mix of performance and light entertainment.
The result is a snapshot of holiday radio variety: a celebratory program shaped by music, comedy, and a salute to a prominent entertainer. It suits listeners interested in classic broadcast entertainment and the blend of seasonal spirit and show-business tribute.
