Don't Fence Me In
by

Music is the heart of the program, with Fisher performing familiar standards and contemporary songs. The title “Don’t Fence Me In” points to a song associated with this recording, while the series’ format offers a chance to hear Fisher’s vocal performances in their original radio context.
Warm and accessible, Coke Time combines the intimacy of a singer’s radio appearance with the polish of a sponsored variety show. Its appeal lies in Fisher’s personable delivery and the pleasure of hearing mid-century popular music presented directly to a listening audience.
