This upload contains 293 episodes of the Old Time Radio variety program, Command Performance, a show created in 1942 to entertain members of the Armed Forces during WWII. The program was only broadcast over the Armed Forces Radio Network and not domestically.

The show illustrates how Hollywood got behind the war effort, donating their time and talents to entertain the troops. Command Performance continued until 1949 or 1950 when budget cuts resulted in its cancellation.

We OTR enthusiasts owe a huge debt to those who have worked tirelessly to discover, acquire and preserve these recordings. My goal is to ensure these excellent artistic expressions of our past are preserved for this and all future generations.
