Reseñas
The rector's mystery is like the curate's egg:
MHW
Good in parts. It often seems older than it is (written 1906; set ten years before), the language isn't Victorian, but the plot creaks a bit. I was repeatedly on the point of giving it up, but then it would pick up. The clergymen narrator is a very attractive character (if not the greatest writer). He and the murderer are quite well -drawn characters. Narrator is good.
