The Meaning of the Glorious Koran
Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall
Lu par LibriVox Volunteers
The Koran (Qur'an) is regarded by Muslims as the word of God (Allah) as revealed to the prophet Muhammad. It is divided into 114 chapters (surahs), arranged roughly by length. This version, The Meaning of the Glorious Koran, is a widely used English translation of the Koran by a Muslim Englishman. Many Muslims, however, including Pickthall, believe that true translations of the Koran from the original Arabic are impossible, and see translations into other languages only as useful interpretations. Just as a book

Gets one star for some of the readers, not all. few did a great job reading! And zero for the book. Repeated itself so much that it pry could have been reduced to 3hrs of reading then rather 16hrs and 28mins. Had to of heard a rendition of Moses 30 times. The repeating of the book did bring to mind of a quote from the Naziâs âIf you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourselfâ. Now do I recommend listening to this book? Yes and no. if you are expecting it to be a profound, filled with deep wisdom that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and will prevent you from falling asleep. No, do not listen to this book. If you are looking to understand a little about Muslims and why they believe what they believe. Of course this is a yes. But I will warn you that you will not find many blunt and open commandments as many (not all) of there tradition seem to be hidden in sub level statements requiring constant attention to pick it out and when you hear the same statement every other sentence it really makes it hard to focus on the meat of the book. Hoped this helped and wasn't bias.
unholy quran
Javastone60
the book is based on a paranoid, pedophilia, child rapist, a man who lusted his own adopted son, murdered and commanded the murder of thousands and inspires the deep demonic hatred of God's creation. A fraudulent of a self proclaimed prophet who conned the world in one of the biggest lie ever that God has no Son. The book practically repeats itself of God has no Son nearly in every chapter. It lies about practically everything in order to fulfill his sexual lust. What is even more fascinating about the unholy quran is, no real muslim reads it. You might say you can substitute the word Muslim with Minion. The book is basically a guideline of how to bully others to do what you want. If people do not submit to the demon god Allah then you must be killed. If you don't want to be murdered then pay a ransom called the JIZYAA as a payoff to not be beheaded. How in the world can highly educated people be fooled by Islam? because either they don't wish to be murdered and candy coats the lies or education is dead.

Muhammad seems to say that it is an error to ascribe a partner to God, but since no one follows this rule, he is the new partner of God. He seemed to be very good for the arabic people, but the fussing and fighting between men was as it always was, and as it is still. See 'Constitution of Medina' for right effort between men.
Allah is the greatest! Only true God.
