A hidden city called Leviathan lies deep within the dark trenches of the Pacific Ocean. The city is home to a community of immortals that sought to create a utopia over 1,000 years ago. For a millennia, they lived in peace and secrecy, gently influencing world events to aid the advancement of mankind. But a terrible secret has been kept deep within the catacombs of Leviathan that threatens the existence of the immortals, and quite possibly the entire world.
One woman named Macallan Orsel, a young genetic scientist in New York, discovers she is descended from a group of immortals that rebelled against Leviathan and are now waging a civil war around the globe. As the immortal war spills into the realm of mortal man, Macallan realizes that she holds the key to stopping the battle and bringing peace to Leviathan. But a clandestine government agency called The Blackdoor Group is trying to exterminate the immortal population and has identified Macallan as their critical target.

Incredible audio quality but... awful story.

I painfully went all the way to the end of season one, because of the audio quality and a very interesting plot... but so many mistakes ! Historical mistakes I cannot deal with, awfully wrong, especially about old Britain and Scandinavia. I like historical sifi but you need a bit of true facts to make it credible. Nothing possible here. Same thing with the characters’ physical aptitudes, even the common mortals, WTF?? Like surviving an aircraft crash without a scratch, YEAH RIGHT ! Too bad, I really enjoyed the audio quality, twas like being in a movie without a screen, great job.

I very much enjoyed season one and look forward to season two. The story, voice acting, and production quality were brilliant. I am having fun with this. But if Mr. Laputka has a single file with the full text, I would love to know the total count on his use ...

I've listened up through Chapter 10 so far. I've really enjoyed it for the most part. The writing has been tight and effective. The cliffhanger in the minisub was very well done. Mr. Laputka has a well-developed talent. But... The flashback to Merry Old England was awful. Dialogue was painfully ...

An average bloke
The story as a whole was interesting. Listening to it was difficult at times with background sounds blending in with the actors voices. All taking into account it is an excellent book to listen to.
?able audio quality

The story line and voices were excellent. However, oftentimes the sound effects were louder than the voices making it difficult to follow at timrs.
