Good Stories, Fine Reader

(4,5 Sterne)

While I understand the opinion, of the previous reviewer, it isn't nearly as bad, as described. If one followed along, with the actual book, one would see that the meter coincides, for the most part, with the punctuation. Mr. Kilmer is actually one of my favourite readers, as his voice is pleasant and clear. I do, sometimes, find his pauses, at commas, a wee bit too long, but that is easily remedied, by setting the speed up, ever so slightly.

can we have a Whirligigs (Version 2)?

(2 Sterne)

I'm a big fan of the O. Henry stories and have enjoyed listening to almost all of them; most of the readers are pretty good. But listening to Whirligigs is a tough slog; the sing-song intonation by the reader is very distracting.
