Excellent Introduction

(4,5 Sterne)

Although it is intended for children, this recording is a great way to experience The Iliad in a fraction of the time. If you can't get enough, then go onto the full version, armed with a solid grasp of the main characters and plot points. Thanks to Lizzie Driver!

Well read thank you.

I always wanted to read the Iliad and honestly could not be bothered. This book was my salvation written in plain English and nicely read it was my only hope of this journey and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It is a wonderful book, but i did hear sirens. All in all it should be a great book. I am very interested in the "Troys Present!" I like the Greeks trick. If you think this not true than you are weird or you just dont like history, but thats fine because you can think what you want. I belive it is true. You that belive that its true are smart. Yes!! Minervo is one who dosnt like history. You are out numbered 6-1. Hahahaha. Just kidding. Sorry. You can think what you want. Its fine and i dont care. hbcf btgk byiyfyjd b jcvgkifvh hvkfiyfcjtdjtfuertfukdkydkdmtd,h vfykfertv yufkyfky fuck vhguhyyjkgcdgfg, mckyfykvmckfkh, vmyckuv, hchcydthvgykvhccgsryshrxjsjtflucjxhrsrhtwfyf, skghkykjykvkdjt .cftuc, hgkydivucykfublhhk

The author tried to balance a simplified story with the original language style. This may put off readers looking for a simplified version of the Iliad. The recording is poor quality. There is a lot of hiss and I even heard sirens in the background. The reader lacks fluidity with awkward pauses. No voice characterization.
